Halloween Party
On Sunday, October 31st Utsav and Sanskriti joined forces once again to take a new spin on the bi-weekly General Board meeting by hosting a Halloween Party. This fun-filled event took place in 450 Dodge Hall which was decorated with eerie spider webs, and grim tombstones creating a spooky environment sure to give you goose bumps.
Students dressed up in costumes ranging from witches, ghouls, and vampires. Raffles and prizes were given out to the best dressed. There was an unlimited amount of candy and food that energized all the party goers for a successful night of socializing, dancing and an all around good time."

A Night in Asia
Last Friday, the rich culture of Asia was showcased through the event, "A Night in Asia." A variety of student organizations, such as VSA, ASU, Barkada, Phi Delta Psi, KPL, TSA, and UTSAV, collaborated to share with the members of the Northeastern University the true essence of the Asian continent. The paper lantern-adorned CSC Ballroom was filled to capacity with booths that featured games, food, and activities. Special performances by NU Revolve as well as a Lion dance troupe occurred, allowing for a unique experience. Thanks to all who attended!

Dhol Baaje: A Night of Garba, Raas, and Bhangra!
This past weekend, Saturday October 6th, was Northeastern's Annual Garba, Dhol Baaje. This year, the event was taken to new highs with collaborations with Northeastern's own Sanskriti, the Indian graduate student association, as well as the MCPHS' Indian Student Organization (ISO).
The sold-out event was a phenomenal success with over 400 people attending from various schools across Boston, as well families from around the area. The great turnout, music from the live DJ, and the traditional aspects of the celebration combined to make the night one to remember. Thank you to everyone who attended!
